Reading the Auctioneer View

What the auctioneer sees on the laptop or tablet, at a glance.

   The total, front and center

   The running total is the biggest number on the screen. On events with Live Auction it combines the live auction and Fund-a-Need.

   The current level

   Below the total, only the level currently being called is shown, with its count and dollars. It changes automatically when the tally phone changes levels.

   Left panel and run of show

   During the live auction, the left panel shows auction progress against its goals. During Fund-a-Need it shows the matching challenge, including how many more gifts are needed. The right panel lists the whole program in order: each auction lot, then every Fund-a-Need level.

   Timers

   Timers show time on the current item or level, plus total elapsed time for the live auction and the Fund-a-Need.

   Goal indicators

   Basic, Stretch and Dream markers show where you are for both the current level and the event overall, so you know whether to keep pushing.

   Live status

   A Live indicator confirms the screen is receiving updates. If it drops, the page reconnects on its own.

   Clearing after a rehearsal

   The Auctioneer View is read-only. To reset after a dry run, use Clear results in the Danger zone on Event Setup — it clears pledges, auction prices and timers.
